UW-Madison seeks feedback for new GIS Professional Master’s Program

The UW-Madison Geography Department is in the process of planning a new on-line Professional Master’s program focused on “GIS Development” and would like your help.

The intent of the UW-Madison Professional Master’s in GIS Development (PM-GISD) is to provide training for geospatial/GIS developers. The program will focus on the design and development of new geospatial analytical and mapping tools with emphasis on both the background concepts and the programming languages needed to implement these tools. The program will be offered completely online.

As part of this process, the Department is conducting a short survey of GIS professionals to assess demand for the program and its curricular content.  Can you help by taking a 10-minute survey?
