How do we improve parcel mapping methods and better utilize the Public Land Survey System to improve accuracy and facilitate data integration?

Participate in this forum and help set the agenda for the state’s next generation of parcel mapping efforts.

Building on 2015’s successful County Surveying & Parcel Mapping Forum at UW Stevens Point, the 2016 Forum will address the following questions. What are parcels and how are they mapped? :: How and why do parcel mapping methods vary across the state? :: How do jurisdictions share parcel mapping responsibilities? :: What best practices and standards exist for parcel mapping? :: What is the PLSS and what its role in parcel mapping? :: How can PLSS be used to improve parcel map accuracy? :: How can parcel mappers and surveyors work together to improve parcel mapping?
