A recent Federal Register Notice announces the deprecation of the US Survey Foot by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the National Geodetic Survey.
WGNHS map sales office to close on December 30, 2019

The Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey (WGNHS) plans to close its map sales office on December 30, 2019. Users of USGS topographic maps should use this as an opportunity to switch to the newer “US Topos” that have replaced the USGS’s legacy paper topographic maps.
