Workshop “New Reference Frames, Datums, Measurement Units and Map Projection & Design”

A workshop sponsored by the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors (WSLS) will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020, at the Kalahari Resort & Convention Center to meet the challenges of NSRS2022. Did you know the National Geodetic Survey is replacing NAD83 and NAVD88 and replacing the U.S. Survey Foot with the International Foot? Will these changes affect you? Will you be ready to meet these challenges?

The instructors: Professor Alan Vonderohe and Dan Rodman will discuss the new reference frames, datums, measurement units, and map projection and design.

Sign-up now! The workshop fee is $95 for WSLS members or $150 for non-members and includes handouts, continental breakfast, refreshments and noon luncheon. Note: anyone who is a member on a WSRS2022 Task Force can take advantage of the WSLS “member” rate.

This workshop also provides six (6) PDHs for a full-day of participation, it’s the first opportunity to gain PDHs for the next renewal.
