Cohen joins city of Madison

Aaron Cohen recently accepted a new position as the GIS Coordinator for the City of Madison. In his new role, Aaron will be working on expanding the GIS capabilities and capacities of the City while raising the profile of spatial technologies across City government.

Prior to joining the City, Aaron worked for over 13 years as a Senior Systems Analyst for a private GIS-consulting firm in the Madison area and as an Associate Planner for 8 years in the Marathon County, WI Planning Department where he implemented both the county’s GIS, as well as the enhanced 9-1-1 system.

Aaron is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Land Information Association.
