V2 statewide parcel web app now available

The Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA) and State Cartographer’s Office (SCO) are pleased to announce the release of the Version 2 (V2) Statewide Parcel Map Database and Web Application.

As announced on October 17th, by Peter Herreid, Grant Administrator of the Wisconsin Land Information Program at the DOA, this release provides the community with a web-based mapping interface for browsing the V2 statewide parcel layer. The application enables users to pan and zoom, search by parcel attribute information, and query parcels on screen. The application also integrates as overlays the V1 (2015) statewide parcel layer and the V2 county administered zoning layers.

The statewide parcel and zoning layers are available for download in their entirety as an Esri file geodatabase. Individual county downloads are available as shapefile or file geodatabase.

Database Characteristics

The V2 Project is part of a larger Statewide Digital Parcel Map Initiative, a multi-year, DOA initiative that resulted from Act 20, the state’s 2013-15 biennial budget.
