SCO conducting pilot project to develop a more accurate statewide Public Land Survey System dataset

The SCO is conducting a pilot study during 2011 – 2012 which will develop and test data integration methods for statewide production of contemporary PLSS data.  This project will consolidate local data into a single dataset using more accurate local data where available.

Walworth County finishes PLSS remonumentation project

A project started in 1991 by Walworth county officials to relocate and mark all 2,679 section corners is capped off with a ceremony in September.
